This is a temporary maternity cover role that is expected to last between 9-12 months.

Summary

Serving as Sales Executive to England, East at Cengage, you will take on a meaningful responsibility to help grow revenue and keep customers engaged in the Higher Education Textbook and Library Reference markets.

What You'll Do Here

  • Own and manage a high-quality sales pipeline, progressing opportunities from qualification through to close, renewal, and expansion.
  • Proactively identify and convert new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with library and faculty partners to encourage the adoption of the wider Cengage portfolio.
  • Develop compelling arguments that demonstrate the impact Cengage can have on teaching and research outcomes, and workforce readiness.
  • Support the transition from individual student-purchase models to balanced institutional agreements.
  • Improve long-term customer value through cross-brand growth, up-sell opportunities, and strong customer retention strategies.
  • Act as a knowledgeable and credible ambassador at industry conferences, exhibitions, trade shows, and customer events.
  • Maintain a broad understanding of Cengage's products and solutions for consultative, value-led customer conversations.
