Compensation Overview

CenCore is seeking a Part-Time Uncleared Security Escort to monitor and escort authorized and uncleared personnel within secure facilities. This role supports site security and safety requirements by helping prevent unauthorized access, maintaining situational awareness, and escalating concerns promptly. The Security Escort serves as a professional representative of the organization while interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors in controlled spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Escort and continuously monitor authorized and uncleared personnel in secure or restricted areas.
- Maintain continuous visual contact and ensure escorted personnel comply with site security and safety procedures.
- Prevent, stop, or report unsafe, unauthorized, or non-compliant activity to protect personnel, facilities, and controlled environments.
- Notify the Escort Supervisor or designated point of contact of security, safety, or scope-of-work concerns.
- Document and communicate incidents, observations, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Represent the organization professionally while interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Remain alert and maintain situational awareness throughout assigned escort duties.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work part-time shifts that may include evenings, weekends, holidays, or other mission-driven coverage.
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to interpret procedures and apply security and safety rules accurately.
- Strong customer service, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a secure facility environment.
- Must be free of color blindness.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in security, military, law enforcement, access control, or escort support roles.
- Experience working in secure, restricted, or government-controlled environments.
- Strong incident reporting and documentation skills.
