A Warehouse Team Member is responsible for carrying out any role required of them within the warehouse environment. To assist in the overall receipt, production, and despatch of customers' orders. They are responsible for the overall processing of the customer orders efficiently and to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • To pick customer orders via handheld terminal in such a manner as to ensure accuracy and no damage, therefore ensuring the customer receives what they expect.
  • Will work as per the standards highlighted in the training to maintain all GDP requirements.
  • Achieve the agreed productivity targets as instructed by the warehouse team managers.
  • Report any issues that may impact order accuracy, order fulfilment or quality to the line management immediately.
  • Medical Bulk orders, Fridge orders & Secure area orders must be picked in the same way however each have specific criteria that will be covered through training.
  • Where tasked to do so ensure that stock is put away as per following criteria.
  • Accurately transfer stock from the pallet or trolley into correct location.
  • Present the stock correctly to the location (either pick face or reserve) as per work instructions.
  • Complete replenishment tasks as directed by the warehouse management team.
  • Where trained and tasked to do so, complete short pick requests.

General

  • All staff are expected to understand the principles of Good Distribution Practice of Medical products for Human use (2013/C 343/01) which is reflected in our SOP - REF Chapter 1 NWOS GDP 1.1. It will be a requirement for all staff to be trained in this SOP and have an annual refresher.
  • Ensure that tasks are always completed in line with designated Health and Safety policies. If unsure, do not action and raise with line manager.
  • Working areas to be kept clean and tidy.
  • Work effectively as part of the warehouse team.
  • Complete all reasonable requests as directed by the warehouse management team.
