This role is in support of Cencora's third party logistics service in Europe operating through our Alloga business. Join our team at Cencora Alloga, a leading global pharmaceutical solutions organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people and animals. You will be delivering to UK destinations only from our distribution centre from the South Normanton site.
We’re looking for a Van Driver to join our team! In this role, you’ll be the face of our company, delivering goods with a smile and ensuring our customers are satisfied every step of the way.
- Fixed Term Contract
- Location: South Normanton, Derbyshire DE55
- Pay Rate: £14.76 per hour
- Working Hours: 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7 week rota with start times ranging from 0600-1200). Occasional weekend shifts. Flexibility to work away for 1 week also required.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver with Care: Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while providing excellent customer service.
- Drive Safely: Follow all traffic rules and keep our vehicle clean and well-maintained.
- Communicate Effectively: Stay in touch with our transport office about your route and any issues that arise.
- Complete Documentation: Keep track of deliveries and collect necessary signatures.
- Prioritize Safety: Follow all safety guidelines and report any concerns immediately.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Attention to detail and a commitment.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, inventory control, or a related field required.
- Certification in forklift operation, licensure in commercial vehicle operation appropriate for assigned vehicle class and transported materials or equivalent preferred.
