This role supports Cencora's veterinary and livestock production solutions marketed through the MWI Animal Health business. You will be responsible for delivering company products to customers safely and on time, representing the company, and maintaining a high standard of customer care at all times.
Responsibilities- Deliver goods accurately and on time following daily driving schedules to registered premises only, obtaining proof of delivery at all manned premises.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle roadworthiness.
- Record and report all vehicle defects in a timely manner, including nil defects.
- Meet all legal requirements for highway use; comply with EU, Domestic and WTD rules.
- Act as an ‘Ambassador’ for the company when dealing with customers and the public.
- Record and report all damages in accordance with company policy.
- Follow company policy and procedure regarding the correct, safe and accurate return of damaged goods from customers.
- Adhere to all company guidance and instructions regarding delivery and return of goods.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness with company vehicles to project a professional image.
- Adhere to company standards regarding workwear and PPE.
- Follow all H&S requirements to protect self, colleagues and the public.
- Use and maintain all supplied equipment in good condition; report faults timely (e.g., Sack Truck, Nomad Boxes, Temperature Recording Equipment, PPE).
- Take precautions to safeguard the vehicle and its contents; lock when unattended.
- Only allow authorized employees or individuals as passengers.
- Comply with all GDP requirements.
- Attend required company training including the HR portal as needed.
- Maintain strong links with Transport and Customer Service Departments.
- Remain contactable on the company-provided phone (Bluetooth).
- Be flexible and react positively to business changes.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and adhere to start times.
- Follow company procedure for absence.
