Job Details

  • Location: AP8
  • Hours: 40hrs Shifts are rotating 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday
  • Pay rate: £13.10

REPORTS TO: Inventory Section Leader / Inventory Supervisor / Inventory Manager

DIRECT REPORTS: None

JOB PURPOSE

To take responsibility for the day to day management of stock accuracy & integrity whilst under the care of Alloga, and quality and service levels are maintained in line with both Alloga UK and governing body processes.

Key Tasks

  • Maintain Safety & Compliance: Follow all Company H&S policies, report accidents/near misses immediately, operate only trained-for equipment, and ensure work meets MHRA/GDP standards with excellent housekeeping.
  • Protect Quality & Assets: Report any equipment/property/product damage, ensure professional appearance with correct uniform/ID, and follow processes to minimise inventory loss.
  • Inventory & Systems Management: Complete daily inventory checks, make accurate WMS stock adjustments, create/maintain locations, and carry out client-required stock takes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively support and suggest process improvements to enhance contract operations.
  • Accuracy & Issue Resolution: Record and communicate errors, investigate queries/complaints methodically, and work closely with Finance and Customer Care on stock-related concerns.
  • Customer/Client Service: Handle queries promptly and professionally, maintaining responsive and high‑quality communication at all times; complete any reasonable tasks as requested by management.

Education, Knowledge and Experience Required

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a warehouse or similar environment
  • Sound Knowledge of GDP
  • A good understanding of Company Policies and Procedures
  • Trained in all relevant SOP’s in 3 months
