This role is in support of Cencora's third party logistics service in Europe operating through our Alloga business. Join our team at Cencora Alloga, a leading global pharmaceutical solutions organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people and animals.
Location: Derby, (AP8) DE21 2HW
Shift Times: Rotating Shifts - 0600-1400/1400-2200
Days: Monday-Friday
Salary: £31820.76
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop warehouse loading teams, including performance reviews, training, absence management, discipline, and resource planning to meet operational, financial, and customer requirements.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing Health & Safety standards, managing accidents/near-miss reporting, overseeing fire evacuations, and ensuring only trained staff operate equipment.
- Oversee compliance with all regulatory and quality standards (GDP, MHRA, GMP, DOT Air Freight Security), ensuring documentation, SOP adherence, housekeeping, and cold‑chain disciplines are consistently met.
- Ensure operational accuracy by monitoring behaviours, equipment condition, error reporting, and completion of all loading, transport, driver, and customer documentation.
- Protect site security by controlling access points, ensuring correct uniform/ID pass use, and responding to key alarms including Liquid Nitrogen activations.
- Drive effective communication and continuous improvement by delivering briefings, liaising across departments, and encouraging best practice across loading and warehouse operations.

- Previous warehouse experience beneficial but not essential
- Strong leadership skills.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft products.
