This includes scheduling, booking in, and delivery receiving to ensure operational accuracy and compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP).\\n\\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join our brand-new, state-of-the-art warehouse in Birmingham, equipped with advanced automation and cutting-edge robotics.

You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our inbound logistics operations within this innovative and dynamic environment.\\n\\nLocation: Gravelly, Birmingham\\n\\nRate of Pay: £13.86 per hour\\n\\nShift Pattern: Full-time position. AM or PM shifts: (6am–2pm) or (2pm–10pm).\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * \\n\\n Maintain and oversee the inbound delivery schedule to align with operational processes and resources.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Manage the Yard Smart system from booking in to delivery receiving.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Resolve delivery anomalies, including overages, shortages, unadvised goods, expiry date issues, and damages.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Identify inbound delivery issues and collaborate with the team to develop solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Promote and encourage a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Take responsibility for understanding day-to-day warehouse activities and identifying personal development needs.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Participate in training programs to enhance operational skills and compliance knowledge.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Demonstrate a positive attitude to change and seek opportunities to improve performance.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Produce end-of-shift reports showing orders not arrived/confirmed.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Resolve issues and inform the Operations Team Manager.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Create operational reports to support site productivity.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Maintain a clear and transparent filing system (both physical and electronic).\\n\\n * \\n\\n Consistently review and monitor the Trade Co process, investigating any unlabelled stock.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Resolve customer delivery anomalies, ensuring all relevant information is captured and logged.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ensure the Goods-In plan supports required productivity in line with site KPIs.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Communicate the daily/weekly Goods-In plan clearly to support operations.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Maintain office housekeeping and hygiene standards to promote a safe working environment.\\n\\nSkills and Experience\\n\\n * \\n\\n Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask.\\n\\n * \\n\\n High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple functional departments.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong organisational skills to manage time, tasks, and resources effectively.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and automated technologies is desirable\\n\\nEssential Requirements\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong problem-solving skills.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Willingness and ability to work collaboratively towards common goals.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Comfortable working in varying temperatures within the warehouse environment.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ability to work at height, stand, and walk for extended periods.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Capability to lift and move materials as needed.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Flexibility to work shifts and meet operational needs.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 applications
