Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
- Sorting, organising and storing stock within the warehouse
- Picking and packing orders accurately to meet operational requirements
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Carrying out stock checks and reporting any discrepancies
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting colleagues to ensure daily warehouse targets are achieved
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team in Exeter on a part‑time basis.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience beneficial but not essential
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Comfortable working in a physically active role
- Desirable: experience using warehouse equipment
- Desirable: previous stock handling or order picking experience
- Desirable: understanding of warehouse health and safety practices
