Putaway Operative

Full-Time No home office possible

Overview

This role supports Cencora\’s wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business. As a putaway operative you will work in a fast-paced warehouse and be responsible for the movement of stock to designated locations within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

To ensure that stock from the putaway area is safely transported to the correct location
To prioritise the put away of out of stock lines
To achieve agreed productivity levels
To transfer the stock from the pallet or trolley onto the location as dictated on the putaway label ensuring that:
The stock is rotated
The stock is presented correctly both at reserve and pick locations
The putaway label is visible on stock put to reserve slots
Stock being placed in pick locations is presented in slave trays, or lids of outer packaging removed
Good housekeeping standards are maintained in all areas
To remove any stock found to be in the wrong location, and place it in the Sin Bin, ensuring that the correct paperwork is completed
To complete the Putaway control sheet accurately
To ensure that errors are maintained within the agreed percentage levels
To report back to the putaway area on completion of the task
To ensure that housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
To report any queries to the Inbound Manager
To ensure that all Health and Safety requirements are met
Any other task as requested by Team Leaders or Manager
