We are looking for a professional and reliable Driver to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of products, materials, and medical samples while ensuring compliance with operational procedures and service standards.
You will play a key role in maintaining delivery accuracy, customer satisfaction, and the smooth running of logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned collections and deliveries in line with scheduled timings and service requirements.
- Verify shipment details and obtain signatures or proof of delivery documentation.
- Transport products, materials, and medical samples safely and securely.
- Follow route plans, temperature control requirements, and transportation regulations.
- Provide timely updates on delivery status, delays, or shipment exceptions.
- Support loading, unloading, packaging, and labelling activities as required.
- Carry out routine vehicle checks and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist with specialist transport assignments, including transfer-point, airport, and hand-to-hand deliveries. Full UK driving licence with a good driving record.
- Previous experience in a driving, courier, or transport role.
- Strong understanding of delivery processes and transport documentation.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements within a transport environment.
