This role is in support of Cencora's veterinary and livestock production solutions marketed through our MWI Animal Health business. MWI Animal Health is a leading brand of Cencora, offering animal health services globally. Your mission will be to use your exceptional commercial acumen, business partnering and financial modelling skills to help the business make informed decisions and track how we are performing. The role will partner with the Customer Relations and Commercial Relations Directors, and key Customer Relations leaders.
Responsibilities
- Analyze trading performance and profitability trends
- Work closely with key business partners to prepare budgets and forecasts, and develop insights into over/under performance
- Identify and quantify risks and opportunities and provide insight to stakeholders regarding influencing factors
- Provide business insights to key business partners through reporting and dashboards
- Play a key role in understanding pinch points in current abilities to self‑serve data in the teams you partner with, and aim to deliver a solution
- Support other critical Corporate Finance deliverables including quarter‑end deep‑dive analytics and assist in the preparation of materials for the quarterly earnings process
- Follow all appropriate Sarbanes‑Oxley procedures
- Proactively identify process improvements and work with necessary teams to implement them
- Undertake other FP&A tasks as required, including assistance to Head of FP&A, Financial Controller or Senior Leadership
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant PQE or QBE
- Relevant experience in similar FP&A Business Partnering positions
- Demonstrable financial acumen, including deep familiarity with forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and root‑cause data interpretation
- Experience in a logistics / 3PL environment desirable
- Self‑starter with ability to prioritise
- Strong commercial and business acumen
- Ability to identify, evaluate and understand a problem and be part of delivering the solution
- Experience building forecasts and targets
- Expert with Excel
- Strong relationship building skills
- Ability to see the bigger picture for the business and not get wrapped up in small details
- Strong communication skills and ability to inform and influence
- Extremely curious, drives to understand issues at the root cause
- Experience with SAP highly advantageous, good experience with BI tools also preferable
- Prioritise and work towards multiple deadlines
