Responsibilities:
- To deliver company products to the customer in a safe and timely manner.
- To abide by the laws governing road and vehicle use.
- To abide by all company guidelines and MHRA requirements in relation to the delivery of company products.
- To maintain high standards of customer care.
- To maintain high personal standards to project a professional image of the company.
- To act as a representative of the company.
- Deliver goods accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with daily driving schedules to registered premises only, obtaining proof of delivery at all manned premises.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle roadworthiness.
- Record and report all vehicle defects in a timely manner including nil defects.
- Meet all legal requirements of the use of the highways.
- Comply with all EU, Domestic and WTD rules.
- Act as an 'Ambassador' for the company when dealing with both customers and the public.
- Record and report all damages in accordance with company policy.
- Follow company policy and procedure regarding the correct, safe and accurate return of damaged goods from customers.
- Adhere to all company guidance and instructions in relation to the delivery and return of goods supplied by the company.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness with company vehicles to project a professional image.
- Adhere to company standards regarding work wear and PPE.
- Adhere to all H&S requirements in order to protect themselves, their colleagues and members of the public.
- Correctly use all equipment supplied and maintain it in good condition. Report any faults or issues with equipment in a timely manner.
- Take all reasonable precautions to safeguard the vehicle and its contents ensuring vehicles are locked when unattended.
- Only allow passengers who are employees of the company or persons authorised by the company.
- Comply with all GDP requirements.
- Attend all required company training including My HR Portal as and when required.
- Maintain strong links with both the Transport and Customer Service Departments.
- Remain contactable, when at work, by ensuring the company provided phone is on and connected to Bluetooth.
- Be flexible and react positively to changes within the business.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and ensure start times are adhered to.
- Follow company procedure for times of absence.
- Follow company employment policy.
- Ensure both Domestic, EU and WTD regulations are adhered to.
- Drive like a professional - Good driving record and appropriate licence for the role.
- Maintaining concentration - Must be able to stay focused when driving and training for long periods.
- Quality communication - There is a great deal of paperwork involved in training and driving. This must be accurate and timely.
