This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business. The role involves ensuring the speedy, efficient and accurate delivery of assembled product and invoices to the customer within the corporate guidelines. All staff are expected to understand the principles of Good Distribution Practice of Medicinal Products for Human Use (2013/C 68/01) which is reflected in our SOP - REF Chapter 1 AHDL GDP 1.1 and will be required for all staff to be trained in this SOP with an annual refresher. All other GDP training will be job specific as per your personal training matrix.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and competent driving standard, observing speed limits and traffic signs.
- Perform a daily vehicle check to ensure roadworthy condition (lights, brakes, coolant, etc.).
- Report any faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays.
- Maintain the internal and external condition of the vehicle, keeping it clean.
- Ensure sufficient fuel is taken for the day’s work.
- Maintain vehicle and contents security at all times.
- Check all orders shown on dropsheets and ensure full load on the vehicle.
- Collect goods returned for credit, mail, cheques or delivery bins and return them safely to the branch.
- Maintain housekeeping standards.
- Deal with damages/breakages promptly and correctly, following special procedures for HazChems.
- Wear a smart appearance at all times.
- Help maintain good customer relations.
- Perform other duties as may be defined by Management.

Qualifications
- A full driving licence relevant to the vehicle being driven.
- For insurance purposes, all drivers must be over 21 years of age.
- Existing employees must update fleet services with any changes to their licence status.

- Intermediate numeracy and literacy.
- Previous experience of multi‑drop delivery driving is highly desirable.
- Route planning experience.
Manual Handling
Manual handling tasks such as lifting and bending are essential requirements of this role.
