We are looking for a reliable and professional Transport Driver to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely collection, transportation, and delivery of shipments, materials, products, and medical samples.
You will play a key role in maintaining service excellence, ensuring shipments are handled in accordance with operational procedures, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
- Complete pickup and delivery activities in line with assigned schedules and service requirements.
- Verify shipment details and obtain relevant signatures or proof of delivery.
- Transport materials, products and medical samples safely and securely.
- Follow planned routes, temperature control requirements and transportation regulations.
- Communicate delivery progress, delays and shipment issues promptly.
- Support loading, unloading, packaging and labelling activities.
- Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance requirements.
- Assist with specialised transport assignments, including airport, transfer-point, and hand-to-hand deliveries. Valid UK driving licence with a strong safety record.
- Experience in a delivery, transport, courier, or logistics role.
- Good understanding of transport and road safety regulations.
- Ability to accurately complete transport documentation and records.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain attention to detail.
- Capability to work independently and manage changing priorities.
