3.5T Multi-Drop Driver - Bugle

Overview

This role supports Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.

It focuses on ensuring speedy, efficient, and accurate delivery of pharmaceuticals to pharmacies and hospitals while maintaining safety and vehicle readiness.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and competent driving by observing speed limits and traffic signs and giving due regard to other road users.
• Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness, including lights, brakes, coolant, and other systems; report faults, breakdowns, accidents, or delays promptly.
• Maintain the internal and external condition and cleanliness of the vehicle; ensure sufficient fuel for the day’s work; secure the vehicle and its contents at all times.
• Check all orders shown on drop sheets and load orders onto the vehicle; collect goods returned for credit, mail, delivery bins, and return them to the branch as instructed by branch management.
• Promptly handle damages or breakages with adherence to Haz Chem procedures where applicable.
• Maintain a smart appearance and contribute to good customer relations.
• Be involved in other duties including warehouse tasks as defined by Management.
• Meet all Health & Safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Full driving license appropriate to the vehicle being driven; a clean license is not required, but the risk of applicants with points on their license will be assessed in the shortlisting process.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent customer care.
• Intermediate numeracy and literacy.
• Previous experience of multi-drop delivery driving is highly desirable; route planning experience is advantageous.
