The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include preparation of plans for civil site projects. Typical tasks include hydrology and hydraulic studies, drainage reports, site plans, technical specifications, grading and utility plans, erosion control plans and roadway design. Responsibilities will expand as experience is gained.
This position is located in our Summerville, SC office.
Minimum Qualifications:- Minimum BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent engineering degree from accredited college/university
- Minimum 7 years of experience in civil engineering and site design
- Professional Engineer licensure is required
- Must be able to coordinate with other engineering teams/disciplines within the firm
- Ability to work independently in a team environment and effectively manage time
- Demonstrated experience in obtaining required construction permits, including one or more of the following; sediment and erosion control, coastal stormwater, and water/wastewater
- Must be able to work and effectively coordinate with staff in multiple office locations
- Effective time-management, written communication skills, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledgeable in specific requirements affecting coastal communities in NC and SC
- Must be able to gain Military Base access
- Must be able to travel to project sites
- Experience preparing bids and proposals, producing design drawings, prepare technical specifications, prepare permit submittals, and assist in providing bid services and construction monitoring A PLUS
- Proficient with computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite, SWMM, HEC/RAS and Civil 3D, with proficiency with MicroStation a PLUS
- Experience with the following project types: Roadway, Site/Grading, Water & Sewer utilities, Lift Stations, Stormwater Management, Federal project experience is a plus
