We are seeking a person to undertake the work of the School Appeals Administrator working as part of the School Admissions Team within Children’s Services. The post holder will organise and coordinate school appeal hearings and exclusion reviews within a timely manner; previous experience of this type of work is essential.
You will need to have an organised, methodical approach to your work and demonstrate the ability to be very flexible and react to changes as these occur, recognising you will be the point of contact for panel members, appeal clerks, parents and schools.
The post holder will collate all paperwork and distribute to the Panel members and attendees, being fully aware of the requirements of Data Protection.
You will work alongside the School Admissions team and undertake appropriate duties in this area of work too, so you will need to demonstrate a degree of flexibility.
You will need to have an excellent telephone manner, work under pressure and, at the same time, work accurately with attention to detail.
