We are looking for a highly organised, proactive person with outstanding communication skills and excellent attention to detail to join our Executive Support Service. This team provides executive assistance and administrative support to Senior Leaders across the Council, including Executive Directors, Lead and Departmental Directors, the Chief Fire Officer and civic figurehead roles. You will cover a maternity leave, providing Executive Assistant support to the Chief Fire Officer of Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service. You should be confident and highly skilled at multi-tasking, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and be capable of planning and managing busy work schedules. Excellent customer service should be delivered in all aspects of the role, while consistently upholding the values of both the service and the council.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive assistance / PA / administrative support to the Chief Fire Officer and senior leaders.
- Proactively manage your own time and the Chief Fire Officer’s time, including planning local and national travel, meeting arrangements and preparation, managing correspondence, diary and email.
