The predicted salary is between 37280 - 39152 £ per year.

The Insurance Team exists to promote and embed risk management practices, underwrite insurance cover and deal with the claims that arise for the departments of Norfolk County Council and subsidiary companies. The post supports the team and all departments and subsidiary companies to manage risks and provides advice to avoid or minimise future claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a professional insurance and client management service to internal and external clients.
  • Advise on underwriting, insurance cover and insurance cost benefit analysis.
  • Ensure appropriate regular insurance and risk management reports are provided to clients to support service delivery.
  • Communicate with clients and respond appropriately to client enquiries.
  • Maintain high accuracy in reporting and communicate findings effectively to clients.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Recent experience working within the insurance industry.
  • Highly focused, organised, enthusiastic, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
  • Good level of education and ability to provide accurate reports.
  • Ability to communicate report findings in an effective way to clients.
