The predicted salary is between 37280 - 39152 £ per year.

We are recruiting an HR Adviser on a fixed term contract up to the end of March 2027. Whilst located in the People Relations Team within People Operations your focus will be entirely on the delivery of the job evaluation and wider grading function including process redesign.

Responsibilities

  • You will plan and deliver caseloads of job evaluation and give advice to job evaluation and grading appeal panels.
  • You will also review the job evaluation process, making recommendations for rationalisation and improvement and delivering the implementation of any changes agreed.

Requirements

  • You need the ability to deal with people professionally in order to propose actions and provide challenge where appropriate, communicating persuasively, clearly and concisely.
  • You need some knowledge and understanding of job evaluation and ideally previous experience of undertaking job evaluation.
  • Alongside this you will need excellent computer skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to check work for correctness is important as it is vital that records are processed and recorded accurately.
  • You will require an understanding and experience of general HR issues with a willingness and commitment to undertake training in job evaluation, principles of organisational design and HR policies.
