Overview
CADS Early Help Advisor | 9034 | Fixed term Contract 12 Months | 37 hours per week | £31,537 to £33,699 per annum | Grade G | Countywide. Office based at County Hall
Childrens Services are seeking to recruit Early Help Advisors based in the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
We believe that every child and family need to have the right support at the right time. Prevention and early intervention are our top priority in enabling families to access support to enable better outcomes and stop the problems families face getting worse.
We are excited to be able to offer the opportunity to join our team as Early Help Advisors.
Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact to liaise with services, families and their networks to identify the most appropriate pathway of support.
- Work with colleagues internally and externally to build capacity and resilience for the future.
- Understand the Norfolk Safeguarding Children Threshold Guide and apply it to the work.
- Communicate effectively through face-to-face, telephone and email interactions; maintain accurate case recording and follow established processes; use computer packages as required.
Qualifications and requirements
- Experience of communicating verbally and in writing; ability to listen, be curious, patient and compassionate.
- Ability to work in a complex environment with adaptable and flexible approach.
- Office-based role in MASH; willingness to engage with colleagues and external partners.
- Awareness of safeguarding procedures and the ability to follow processes.
