Due to continued business growth CEM Solutions are recruiting an experienced CEMS Service Engineer to join our team.

We are a service-focused business, passionate about providing excellent customer service and customer satisfaction in the servicing and calibration of process & control and emissions monitoring systems.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, diligent individual with a background and positive track record in field service. The successful candidate will have a number of years’ experience working specifically in the emissions monitoring industry, carrying out routine service on CEM systems and/or Process Control Instrumentation as well as fault finding and repair on the same.

Position Summary

You must be driven by wanting to deliver the best possible customer service experience, regardless of the task in-hand. You are an excellent communicator, able to engage clearly and confidently with both customers and colleagues. You can follow procedures but also act on initiative, investigating and diagnosing faults and supporting colleagues where appropriate.

You will be traveling throughout the length and breadth of the UK, with nights away. The role could be hybrid, with some home-working when not on site, or working from our head office in Derbyshire.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Primarily responsible for routine service/calibration and maintenance of equipment on site.
  • Repair/fault investigation of instrumentation on a variety of applications, both on-site and in-house
  • Scheduling / arranging service visits with customers and preparing / sending RAMS to site
  • Working closely to strict procedures and adhering to H&S requirements
  • Contributing towards our ethos of continuous improvement with ideas and suggestions
  • Completing all necessary work reports / calibration certificates and updating internal system logs as required
  • Promoting the business – looking for potential sales and opportunities
  • Acting on initiative, advising customers and employer of issues and opportunities
