CELTS Pool Management (a division of CELTS Aquatics Group) is hiring Part‑Time Lifeguards. You will supervise the pool area and ensure all safety policies are followed as a key member of the Water Safety Team.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at work dressed appropriately and ready at least five minutes early.
- Ensure safety through supervision and enforcement of rules.
- Respond quickly to emergencies in and out of the water.
- Administer first aid as needed.
- Report unsafe conditions to the Director or Head Guard.
- Complete assigned cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Test water and report chlorine or pH issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Know and enforce pool rules respectfully.
- Display a positive attitude.
- Attend all staff meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Valid Lifeguard Certification (training available).
- Excellent public relations and customer service skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capable of analyzing information and making objective assessments.
- Maintain objectivity and appropriate care standards.
- Team player who can work under direct supervision in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexible availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Pay & Hours
Earn up to $16.78 per hour depending on experience. Available hours range from 24 to 32 per week, with shifts during the day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
