Our ideal candidate will have
- ProfessionalChef qualifications to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Astrong understanding of menu planning, food costing and kitchenprofitability
- Comprehensiveknowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- Experienceworking in a high-volume, quality-focused restaurant, hotel or hospitalityenvironment
- Experienceleading and developing a kitchen team of five or more colleagues
- Aproven ability to deliver consistently high standards during busy serviceperiods
- FoodHygiene Level 2 certification (or above)
- Excellentorganisational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure
- Apassion for fresh food, great presentation and delivering exceptionalguest experiences
- Apositive, hands-on leadership style with a commitment to developing others
Implementing our 'Yes, We Can' philosophy, you will
- Supportthe Head Chef in the day-to-day operation of Casa's kitchen
- Leadand motivate the kitchen brigade, ensuring consistently high standards offood quality and presentation
- Assistwith menu development, seasonal specials and cost-effective menu planning
- Managefood ordering, stock control and supplier relationships
- Ensureall deliveries are checked, stored and rotated correctly in line withcompany procedures
- Maintainexceptional standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Workclosely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Driveefficiency and minimise waste while maintaining quality standards
- Train,coach and develop team members to help them reach their full potential
- Leadby example during service, creating a positive and productive workingenvironment
