Our Ideal Hero WillHave
- Previousexperience in event planning, event sales or conference and banquetingoperations
- Excellentcommunication and relationship-building skills
- Strongorganisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Experiencemanaging multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- ExcellentIT skills and confidence using booking, CRM or event management systems
- Apassion for customer service and creating memorable experiences
- Commercialawareness and confidence identifying upselling opportunities
- Aqualification in Hospitality, Events Management or a related disciplinewould be advantageous
Implementing Our'Yes, We Can' Philosophy, You Will
- Manageyour own portfolio of conferences and events from handover through tocompletion
- Buildstrong relationships with clients, providing expert advice and guidancethroughout the planning process
- Produceaccurate Event Orders and ensure all departments are fully informed ofclient requirements
- Coordinatepre-event meetings, site visits, menu tastings and client showrounds
- Liaiseclosely with operational departments to ensure seamless event delivery
- Meetand greet clients during their event and act as their key point of contacton-site
- Manageevent amendments, ensuring all relevant teams receive updated informationpromptlyMonitorevent revenue, deposits and contractual commitments, maintaining accuraterecords within Delphi
- Maximiserevenue opportunities through the promotion and upselling of Resortfacilities and services
- Gatherclient feedback, complete post-event reviews and support future businessopportunities
