We’re looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at The Grill, the welcoming clubhouse restaurant at Celtic Manor Resort. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Roman Road golf course, The Grill is a favourite with golfers, resort guests and local diners, serving a menu packed with expertly prepared steaks, grills, classic comfort dishes and seasonal favourites.

As Chef de Partie, you’ll take pride in running your own section, working with quality ingredients and supporting a talented brigade to deliver exceptional food and service every day. Whether it’s a relaxed lunch, a family celebration or a busy dinner service, you’ll play an important role in creating experiences our guests want to return for.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about food and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

You’ll ideally have:

• NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery or an equivalent qualification
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or 1 year’s experience as a Chef de Partie
• Experience working within a quality hotel, resort or busy restaurant environment
• A strong understanding of food safety, HACCP and kitchen best practice
• Food Hygiene Level 2 certification
• Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of our kitchen brigade, you’ll:

• Take responsibility for your allocated section and ensure it is fully prepared for service
• Prepare and present dishes to the highest standards, consistently delivering quality and attention to detail
• Support the team in delivering an outstanding dining experience for every guest
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained in line with company procedures
• Assist with stock control, ordering and the correct storage of food deliveries
• Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and health and safety
• Support, guide and encourage junior members of the team
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient service
