OVERVIEW

Working as part of our Culinary team, youwill play a key role in delivering exceptional food standards, maintaining asafe and hygienic working environment, and supporting our commitment tooutstanding guest experiences across The Celtic Collection.

OUR IDEAL HERO WILL HAVE

• AAA Level 2 qualification or equivalent
• Food Hygiene Level 2 certification
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel and/or largereputable restaurant
• At least 12 months’ experience in a Commis Chef position
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills
• Experience working within a 1 or 2 AA Rosette restaurant environment(desirable)
• AAA Level 3 qualification or equivalent (desirable)

IMPLEMENTING OUR ‘YES YOU CAN’ PHILOSOPHY, YOU WILL

• Prepare and serve food in line with department standardsand recipes
• Ensure all food products and stock are correctly labelled, rotated and stored
• Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene withinthe kitchen
• Support the delivery of exceptional internal and external customer service
• Assist in the care, control and maintenance of kitchen equipment and stock
• Attend all required training sessions and departmental briefings
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Culinary team and widerresort departments
• Escalate any guest complaints, concerns or health and safety issues promptlyto your supervisor
• Minimise waste and use resources efficiently to support environmental andcost objectives
• Comply with all Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Food Safety and companypolicies and procedures
