Our Ideal Hero Will Have

  • Provenexperience in a Conference & Events, Banqueting or Food & Beveragemanagement role within a high-volume, quality-focused hospitalityenvironment
  • Outstandingleadership, coaching and people management skills with a passion fordeveloping teams
  • Strongcommercial awareness, including experience managing budgets, payroll,forecasting and cost control
  • Excellentcommunication and organisational skills, with the ability to buildpositive relationships across departments
  • Ahands-on management style with a commitment to delivering exceptionalguest experiences and operational excellence
  • Level3 Food Safety qualification (or equivalent) and a sound understanding oflicensing, health & safety and compliance requirements

  • Leadand inspire the Conference & Events team to deliver outstandingservice for conferences, banquets, weddings and special events
  • Overseethe planning, set-up, delivery and breakdown of functions, ensuring everyevent exceeds guest expectations
  • Managedepartmental performance, budgets, payroll and operational efficiencies toachieve financial targets
  • Recruit,train, coach and develop team members, creating a positive and engagingworking environment
  • Monitorguest feedback, resolve concerns professionally and continuously improvethe guest experience
  • Workclosely with the Hotel Manager and wider hotel teams to drive servicestandards, innovation and business success
  • Ensurecompliance with all health & safety, food safety and licensingregulations
  • Maintaina visible presence across all Conference & Events areas, leading byexample and supporting the team operationally when required
