The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

Working within the Buying and Merchandising team, the assistant buyer would be responsible for ensuring sample management, supplier communications and administrative activities are actioned on a daily basis.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Responsible for the placing and updating of Purchase Orders (POs) and all supporting information to be sent to suppliers within deadlines
  • Responsible for maintaining information, ensuring it is up to date and accurate in relation to the critical path
  • Responsible for the administrative communication with suppliers
  • Responsible for updating delivery information
  • Progression toward taking responsibility for own product areas
  • Providing full administrative support to the buying team on ad hoc duties as required
  • Provide holiday cover for assistant merchandiser
  • Assisting and supporting colleagues within the buying and merchandising team

  • To communicate information across the required departments at Celtic FC
  • Ensure all communications with colleagues is professional, appropriate and considerate of individual needs and circumstances
  • Actively build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues across the Club, ensuring a collaborative approach is adopted at all times

Skills and Experience required:

Essential

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with suppliers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Results driven individual, highly motivated, enthusiastic with a strong desire to succeed

  • Experience within a fashion retail environment
