Electrical Estimator

As an electrical project estimator, you will have responsibility for evaluating the cost of electrical installations, typically for industrial and commercial projects. You will be creating estimates, on your own or as part of a team, allowing for all costs involved in an electrical project.

Your key duties will include:

• Timely preparation of and submission of electrical estimates
• Liaising with clients
• Review incoming enquiries
• Identifying items of manufacture and subcontract specialist services
• Liaising with external suppliers and subcontractors over identified services ensuring that the services that they are offering are compliant with clients\’ needs

Strong IT skills including a detailed knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office packages (Word/Excel/Outlook) and estimating software along with a minimum of 1 years\’ estimating experience is essential. Ideally HNC/HND qualified, you will be currently working in or have experience within the construction industry. You will have excellent analytical and planning skills, be able to work to high standards of quality and have a strong eye for detail. You will enjoy working in a team but also be able to work proactively under your own initiative. You will be a confident communicator and have a track record of building effective client relationships and meeting deadlines.
