The predicted salary is between 1040 - 1240 £ per month.
13 paid hours per week | Saturday & Sunday | between the hours of 7.30am to 2.30pm.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, well-balanced meals for our residents across breakfast and lunch services. You will also take on responsibility for maintaining a safe and compliant kitchen environment, stepping up to cover for the Chef Manager during periods of absence or holiday.
Responsibilities- Prepare breakfast and lunch to a consistently high standard
- Ensure full compliance with food hygiene, health & safety, and allergy requirements
- Support both front and back-of-house operations
- Manage kitchen operations independently or as part of a small team
- Build positive relationships with residents, staff, and visitors
- Previous experience in a similar cook/chef role is essential
- A recognised food preparation qualification (NVQ Level 1/2/3 or equivalent) is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage warmly with a range of individuals
- Able to self-manage, take initiative, and work effectively both alone and in a team
Working Hours: 14 hours per weekend, inclusive of a 30-minute unpaid break per day. Paid hours: 13 per week. Shift pattern: Saturday & Sunday.
