We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant (HCA) or Phlebotomist to provide short-term locum cover for approximately four weeks, with an immediate start available. This opportunity offers a regular schedule and the chance to work within a supportive primary care environment.

Working Pattern

  • Approximately 3 days per week
  • Working hours: 08:30 – 17:30
  • 1-hour unpaid lunch break

Responsibilities

  • Routine phlebotomy clinics with appointments booked in 10-minute blood-taking slots
  • General HCA duties where applicable
  • Health reviews, including areas such as:
    • Hypertension reviews
    • Learning Disability reviews
    • Other routine HCA clinics as required
  • Accurate patient record management using SystmOne

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an HCA and/or Phlebotomist within Primary Care
