As a Health and Safety Advisor at CELSA, you’ll be part of a team that is dedicated to creating a safe working environment for all its employees. Working within our Health & Safety department no two days will be the same, as you’ll be working with managers across two different sites. You’ll not only be responsible for supporting our managers to ensure that health & safety policies are followed but also play a key role in improving them.
You’ll have a background working as a Health and Safety Advisor in heavy industry, ideally with experience working within Manufacturing. Regular auditing and following up with action plans based on the findings will be a key part of your role so you’ll have previously worked to ISO 45001 requirements. This role will require a NEBOSH certificate (or equivalent).
You’ll be joining a recycling company – we recycle scrap metal into new steel products. We’re the largest producer of reinforcing steel in the UK and one of the largest metal recyclers, too. We’re passionate about circular economy and working towards our decarbonisation pathway.
