Primary Water Solutions is a professional water hygiene and compliance specialist, delivering reliable PPM services to help clients meet legal requirements and manage waterborne risk. Our experienced engineers carry out temperature monitoring, shower disinfections, TMV servicing, and cold water tank cleaning in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274, providing consistent service, clear reporting, and safe, compliant water systems.
Primary Water Solutions are looking for a reliable and competent Water Hygiene Engineer based in, or local to Reading, to carry out routine PPM water hygiene tasks across commercial and domestic sites.
What you will do:
- Routine temperature monitoring of hot and cold-water systems
- Shower disinfections and descaling
- TMV servicing, testing, and maintenance
- Cold water storage tank cleaning and inspections
- Accurate completion of site paperwork and compliance report
- Working in line with ACOP L8, HSG274, and company procedures
Who you are:
- Experienced in water hygiene / legionella control (essential)
- Good understanding of PPM schedules and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload
- Have a full UK driving licence
- Professional, customer-focused attitude
