Celnor Group is a UK based group in the Testing, Inspection, Certification and Compliance (TICC) sector. Celnor was founded in 2023 by industry leader Simon Parrington and has quickly grown into a network of specialist companies serving clients across safety, environmental, built environment, risk management, analytical sciences and compliance services.
As IT Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for HQ IT support, ensuring prompt service, minimal downtime, and efficient day to day IT administration, including request triage, documentation, and licence management. The role also offers exposure to acquisitions, due diligence, and operational resilience.
You will have the opportunity to get hands on with project work across our other office locations, collaborating with teams on interesting, real world technology initiatives and seeing your impact beyond HQ.
What will you do:
- Provide first line IT support for HQ, ensuring quick resolution of issues and minimal disruption to the team.
- Triaging all incoming IT requests to prioritise effectively and keep the wider IT function focused on higher value work.
- Manage licence amendments across member companies via eCat (Softcat), supporting compliance, cost control, and improved visibility.
- Handle laptop configuration and specification checks for HQ users.
- Create and maintain IT documentation to strengthen governance, continuity, and scalability.
- Conduct research and gather information on member companies to support due diligence and integration planning.
- Software & Hardware installation.
- Provide absence cover for the Head of IT, helping ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Support wider group IT administration and documentation activities across the business.
- Work with external MSPs for wider project work.
Who are you:
- Experience in IT support, administration, or junior IT operations.
- Confident first line IT support in a professional environment.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, and clear communication skills.
- Proactive, service focused approach.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
- Proficient in Windows and Mac OS.
Desirable:
- Experience with software licensing or supplier portals (e.g., Softcat/eCat).
- Exposure to multi company environments.
- Interest in IT governance or progression into IT management.
- Experience with onboarding, standardisation, or MSP environments.
