As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high quality surveying services across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the strategic growth of the Building Surveying team. This role requires a proactive, commercially minded professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for delivering value-driven solutions in the built environment.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities while supporting and expanding existing accounts.
- Prepare and submit high-quality tender submissions, demonstrating strategic thinking and technical expertise.
- Provide professional advice and support to Partners and the wider team, helping resolve client challenges and deliver excellent service.
- Mentor and supervise graduate surveyors, managing workloads and overseeing project delivery.
- Support the training and development of colleagues, sharing technical knowledge and encouraging professional growth.
- Contribute to team performance and project success by providing regular progress updates, participating in team meetings, and collaborating on fee planning.
- Ensure compliance with RICS CPD requirements, company policies, and industry standards including QA, Environmental, Health.
