This site-based role involves providing engineering support, inspections, installations, and technical guidance to ensure safe working at height across a variety of environments. You will be instrumental in maintaining safety compliance while delivering practical, engineered solutions for work-at-height challenges.
Location: London – Central. Employment type: Full Time. Compensation: £38 – £50,000 / year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Survey, design support, and installation of high-level safe access systems, including ladders, walkways, platforms, and gantries.
- Installation, inspection, and certification of fall protection systems, including:
- Fixed lifelines (horizontal & vertical)
- Anchor points
- Guardrails and edge protection
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Field Engineer in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of high-level access and fall protection systems.
- Understanding of work-at-height regulations and safety standards.
- Comfortable working at height and in challenging site environments.
- CSCS card preferred (can be provided if required).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
- IPAF, PASMA, or other access-related certifications.
- Fall protection inspection or manufacturer-specific training.
- Confined space or offshore experience (if applicable).
