As a Quantity Surveyor within CHPK Limited, you play a key role in supporting both pre- and post-contract cost management services across a range of Commercial and Residential projects. You are responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of all quantity surveying duties, from cost planning and tender management to contract administration and project completion. This role will be remote with some office attendance required in the Birmingham office.

You will have the chance to work across a variety of projects and be responsible for the delivery of a range of outputs including:

  • Pre and Post-Contract Cost Management: Deliver comprehensive cost management services, including cost planning, tender management, contract administration, and final account agreements.
  • Tender Preparation and Assessment: Prepare and assess tender packages, ensuring alignment with both client and project requirements.
  • Provide clients with accurate, timely cost reports and updates to keep them informed of project financials.
  • Cost Benchmarking and Analysis: Conduct benchmarking and analysis to support client decision-making with accurate, data-driven insights.
  • Fund Monitoring: Provide fund monitoring services for development projects, ensuring financial governance and compliance with all agreed processes.
  • Contract Administration/Project Management: Manage contract administration duties, ensuring projects are compliant with JCT and NEC contract suites.
  • Conduct reinstatement cost assessments for insurance purposes, providing thorough, detailed valuations based on site inspections.

We’re seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor.

Degree in Quantity Surveying: You hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related qualification.

Experience: Several years experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, with a strong foundation in the Commercial and Residential sectors.

Contract Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of JCT and NEC contract suites, ensuring projects are delivered in line with industry standards.
