Vintec are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a dual role, with the position predominantly focused on Asbestos Analyst duties, particularly air monitoring and four-stage clearance procedures. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career as an Asbestos Analyst, while gaining exposure to complementary site-based duties that broaden technical knowledge and experience. Vintec are open to candidates with only analytical experience.
What you will do
- Primary Responsibilities Asbestos Analyst (Main Focus)
- Carrying out air monitoring, reassurance testing, and four-stage clearances
- Setting up and managing air testing equipment
- Undertaking visual inspections of asbestos removal works
- Producing accurate analytical reports and certification
- Ensuring work is completed in line with HSG248 and company procedures
- Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and site teams
- Secondary Responsibilities (Supporting Role)
- Assisting with site inspections and basic asbestos-related surveys (where trained)
- Supporting senior staff with data collection and site documentation
- Learning wider consultancy processes to support career development
Who you are
- A strong interest in developing your career as an Asbestos Analyst
- BOHS qualifications or equivalent P403 and P404. A P402 is desirable
- Previous air testing or site-based experience
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
