Job Description Come join the team as a Senior Utility Surveyor in our growing business, along with exciting opportunities to work on some of the largest UK construction projects. With offices in the Midlands & South-East, we are continuously developing and expanding our team. Our Vision is to be the number one supplier of Engineering and Utility Services in the UK. Key Responsibilities Leading utility survey projects from start to finish, ensuring high standards are met throughout.Utilising modern surveying methods and equipment, including total stations, GPS, and ground penetrating radar.Conducting thorough inspections and accurately recording underground utility assets and manhole inspection reports.Delivering completed utility survey reports to Project Managers and CAD Operators in accordance with Vision Survey and industry standards.Building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure successful project outcomes.Mentoring and guiding junior surveyors and assisting them in their professional development.Conducting quality checks on information collected onsite and ensuring successful transition to final deliverables.Maintaining and ensuring the functionality of all survey equipment.Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Extensive experience in utility surveying, preferably in a senior or leadership role.Strong understanding of industry standards and practices, with knowledge of PAS 128 and TSA being essential.Proficient in the use of surveying technologies including ground penetrating radar and electromagnetic location systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with clients and managing project teams.Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and effectively prioritise workloads.Proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members.Flexibility to travel to various job sites nationwide as required.Possess a clean and valid manual driving license.Relevant qualifications in surveying or a related field are desirable.Strong educational background in Math and English, with minimum GCSE grades of C or above.Job Benefits Competitive industry-leading salaries (DOE)23 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 26 with serviceStaff benefits package including discounts at retailers and gym memberships, and spa daysPension SchemeHealth Insurance (Vitality), including cinema tickets, free coffee, and movie rental rewards, along with free subscription to Headspace and Free Virtual 24/7 GP ServiceLife InsuranceCompany Van and Fuel cardTax-free stay-away allowance and paid travel time over 1 hour journeyPaid overtime for over 40 hrs, with increased rate for night and weekend workReferral Scheme of up to £1000IT & Phone PackageRecognition scheme and Service AwardsSocial events throughout the year eg Annual General Meeting, Summer Event, and Christmas EventContinuous on-the-job training and development, both in-house and through The Survey School (QCF) and CICES qualificationsVision Survey is an equal opportunities employer with the aim of providing a diverse and inclusive environment.
