Job Description

As a Senior Platform Engineer at Cellular Origins, you’ll work with our software engineering teams to automate build tasks and infrastructure, create self-service environments for engineers, and foster collaboration between development and operations teams.

Your responsibilities include maintaining and extending existing factory architecture and core services, such as on-prem hypervisors, IaaS/PaaS, and virtualized software containers. You will serve as a subject matter expert in platform infrastructure, providing guidance and technical input on architecture, design, implementation, and development support.

You will also provide design input and advice as DevOpsSec for software platforms deployed to cell-therapy automation factories, as well as internal infrastructure for development and continuous integration.

This role offers the chance to join a multidisciplinary team and expand your skills, working closely with electronics, robotics, and system engineering aspects of the system.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in designing and deploying infrastructure for rapid and robust software delivery in Cloud and in-house environments.
  • Experience with DevOps implementation (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.).
  • Experience setting up servers, networking, storage, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
  • Proficiency in automation tools and scripting (Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash).
  • Ability to build and manage CI/CD workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with developers and stakeholders.
  • Experience designing infrastructure for software delivery in Cloud and on-prem environments.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of on-prem hypervisors and virtualized containers (Proxmox/ESXi).
  • Interest or experience with robotics, electronics, and automation systems.
  • Understanding security in DevOps, especially for cell therapy manufacturing automation.
  • Ability to evaluate and integrate new technologies.
  • Strong skills in gathering and refining technical and business requirements.
