Overall Purpose of the Role: We are hiring a Contracts & Tenders Associate to support the UK access strategy for Celltrion Healthcare. You will help the business to drive national and regional payer strategy, supporting NHS access to our medicinal products, and shape adoption across our portfolio and future pipeline products. This is a key role within the organisation and you will have responsibility for completing tasks that are critical to Celltrion Healthcare UK’s business success.
Accountability: Completing the tasks described within the Key Responsibilities section below.
Performance Measurement: Annual objectives will be set in conjunction with the line manager. Performance will be measured during one-to-one meetings and annually using a Performance Review document.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be instrumental in supporting mapping of key market information required for NHS Commissioning Framework submission - information that will inform strategic business decisions (including collaborating with colleagues to identify and analyse market trends, competitor activity/product pricing).
- You will lead and complete the submission of Celltrion product offers to NHS Commissioning Frameworks, although overall responsibility for these activities will sit with the line manager.
- You will undertake appropriate levels of engagement with NHS Commissioning Authority teams, and other NHS employees as required, during the full cycle of these frameworks (from NHS/supplier pre-framework engagement, through the submission and adjudication process, and through the duration of the framework), building strong relationships with these contacts.
- You will work closely with the line manager and lead on developing professional relationships between Celltrion and private healthcare organisations (private hospital chains, clinics and similar) to secure appropriate commercial agreements to support access to these markets and adoption of Celltrion products.
- You will be pivotal in the Celltrion product usage forecasting process.
- You will be involved in the internal decision-making process relating to the setting of pricing of Celltrion products.
- You will support the development and execution of UK market access strategy at national and regional levels.
- You will complete a series of internal administrative tasks associated with the above.
- To achieve the above you will collaborate cross-functionally and build strong internal relationships, working closely with the line manager and other key colleagues (including but not limited to, the Business Analyst, Sales Management, Operations, Regulatory, Marketing and other appropriate colleagues).
Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience within UK market access.
- Proven experience engaging with NHS Procurement Authorities and completing NHS Commissioning Framework submissions.
- Strong understanding of UK reimbursement systems, HTA processes, and payer decision drivers.
- Experience supporting product launches, ideally within immunology and oncology.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, lean, agile and entrepreneurial environment.
- Proven experience in market access or commercial management, preferably in immunology or a related pharmaceutical area.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding business targets.
- Experience working closely with Payors and Budget-holding Hospital Pharmacists.
- The ability to work effectively with cross-functional colleagues.
- Knowledge or experience in implementing patient support or other value-added programs would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse data, identify opportunities, and implement effective commercial strategies.
- Passion for delivering value to healthcare professionals and patients.
- Ideally you will hold ABPI examination certification.

- The demonstrable ability to engage and work with influential mid-senior and senior staff at NHS organisations, notable Procurement Authorities.
- The ability to accurately complete official and detailed NHS documents as part of the NHS Commissioning Framework submission process.
- The ability of securing strategic commercial agreements with private healthcare organisations.
- The ability to source, identify and analyse any internal or external data/information relating to being able to complete the above competencies.
