We are seeking a keen and experienced Paralegal to assist a busy legal department. Reporting to Senior Legal Counsel, you will be a key driver in the contract lifecycle and corporate governance functions. This role requires a minimum of two days per week on-site at our Victoria, London office.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Customer Contract Review: Conduct full legal and commercial reviews of the customer contract cycle, including NDAs, MSAs, SaaS, and SOWs.
  • Data Privacy & Compliance: Assist Senior Legal Counsel with the implementation of Data Protection policies and procedures, including drafting and reviewing Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and privacy templates.
  • Supplier & Risk Management: Manage the supplier review process and report to vendor account managers on specific contract risks and mitigations.
  • Contract Management & Operations: Maintain a full contract audit of all third parties and customers. Hold responsibility for maintaining the legal database (or CLM) and producing weekly departmental reports.
  • Corporate Secretarial: Handle legal entity management, draft board minutes and shareholder resolutions, and manage business licenses.
  • Document Control: Archive and maintain records of all contracts and legal documents to ensure a 'source of truth' for the department.
  • Template Governance: Draft and maintain a Legal Playbook and document templates to ensure consistency across all negotiations.

Skills you will have fine-tuned

  • Education and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Law or similar.
  • Professional Training (Desirable): Completion of the SQE, LPC, or Bar training is welcomed but not required for candidates with extensive relevant experience.
  • Mindset: Internationally minded with a hands-on, 'can-do' attitude.
