We’re looking for a Network Ops Team Leader to take ownership of one of the most critical functions in our business, delivering service and security management across our UK portfolio, including Tower Infrastructure, In-Building Solutions and Small Cells. This role sits at the heart of our operations and you’ll be responsible for ensuring our customers receive consistently high-quality, resilient service, underpinned by robust processes, strong supplier partnerships, and effective contractual oversight. This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role where you can shape how we deliver service across one of the UK’s most important connectivity infrastructures. This is a hybrid position based at our welcoming offices in Reading or Manchester, with three days in the office and two days working from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for defining and executing the strategy for managing Cellnex UK’s portfolio of services and infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
- Define and operate a robust commercial and delivery framework, including contracts, suppliers, and internal resources, to deliver services across the full product and infrastructure estate in line with customer and site-provider agreements.
- Overall accountability for the effective and efficient operation of the Cellnex UK Network Operations Centre (NOC), ensuring high service availability, operational resilience, and continuous performance improvement.
- Ensure consistent delivery of services to contractual commitments, meeting or exceeding agreed SLAs and KPIs while operating within defined commercial, regulatory, and contractual parameters.
- Own the end-to-end management of field maintenance service partners supporting the In-Building and Small Cells portfolio, including sourcing and selection via RFQ processes, establishing performance metrics, monitoring service delivery, and leading continuous improvement programmes to enhance quality and efficiency.

Experience:
- Demonstrable experience in managing the day-to-day operations of a telecommunications or technology Network Operations Centre (NOC), ensuring stability, performance, and service continuity.
- Team and supplier management – creating the right mindset and environment for employees, suppliers and peers to deliver at their best and continue to develop.
- Strategic thinking – setting the vision and strategic direction for the service function.
- Engaging with peers to align towards the most effective and efficient future methods of operation.
- Governance & Risk management – Ensure effective governance of contracts, processes and services and management of associated risks.
- Service Improvement – Focusing on continuous improvement of services provided to our customers.
