The role involves leading the way in shaping how we buy goods and services, setting clear, practical approaches that align with the wider Group. You will ensure our procurement runs smoothly, works efficiently, and supports our broader business goals.

Your leadership will be pivotal in fostering robust supply chain partnerships, driving operational excellence, and meeting the dynamic needs of the organisation. You will lead a dedicated core team, delivering top-tier procurement services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a strategic plan to meet the country’s business procurement requirements.
  • Oversee the management and implementation of the lowest total cost of ownership and highest value for money. Ensure savings and deadlines are met and appropriate contractual terms secured.
  • Contribute ideas and expertise to deliver a professional service to the business in areas such as supplier partnerships, cost reduction, procurement management information.
  • Identify future business needs and develop procurement solutions to meet these.
  • Deliver the best possible tools and resources for the team to deliver the required service levels.
  • Build relationships across the leadership of the business to promote best practice, ensuring correct methodology where appropriate.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced colleagues to share expertise and enhance the procurement and supply chain function.
  • Ensure procurement is delivered in tandem with the wider Cellnex business and actively work with the Chief Procurement Officer, the Corporate areas, and colleagues in other countries to drive best value across the wider supply chain where required.

Experience
  • Extensive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or category management.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing a functional team.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop cost models.
  • Expertise in RFx execution and supplier negotiation.
  • Able to negotiate complex contracts.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, risk assessment, and contract management.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a global procurement environment.
  • Good research skills with the ability to gather relevant information from a range of sources, manage and disseminate knowledge effectively.
