The role involves being an Electrical Designer in a highly skilled, customer-first team supporting Cellnex delivery teams and customers. Operating in a fast-moving, time-constrained environment, you’ll be a trusted subject matter expert, providing clear technical guidance to internal teams and external suppliers alike. You’ll help set the standards that shape how electrical design work is delivered across our infrastructure, ensuring consistency, quality and confidence at every stage. This is a hybrid position based at our welcoming offices in Leamington Spa, Reading or Manchester, with three days in the office and two days working from home. We welcome applications from everyone. Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate technical drawings to ensure accuracy, buildability, and compliance with all relevant electrical and safety standards.
  • Maintain and update internal technical libraries, including drawings, standards, specifications, and design templates.
  • Support and follow Cellnex, Customer, and Site Provider design policies, acting as an advocate for best practice and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide expert technical advice on electrical design matters, keeping documentation current and supporting colleagues with ad-hoc design and RF queries.
  • Contribute technical content to bids and proposals, supporting both new and existing customer opportunities.
  • Develop assessment methodologies for challenging or non-standard sites, ensuring consistent design quality.
  • Drive standardisation of design practices and workflows to increase efficiency, quality, and repeatability across the engineering function.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring, sharing knowledge and supporting junior team members and engineers as required.
  • Support the development of new products, solutions, and service offerings, feeding into innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
