We are excited to offer a temporary opportunity for an enthusiastic Cellar Runner to join the founding home of the 67 Pall Mall Members’ Club, located in the heart of London’s St James’s. We are seeking an organised, responsible and motivated individual to join our busy Cellar Team on a fixed‑term contract of two months, working 25 hours per week, starting in June. The role sits within the Cellar Team, led by the Head of Inventory, and plays a vital part in supporting both the Cellar and Sommelier teams to ensure smooth and efficient wine service to our Members.
This is a hands‑on role, integral to the day‑to‑day operation of the cellar, including stock organisation, service support and assisting with member requests. The ideal candidate will be reliable, quick to learn and have a genuine interest in wine.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Stock control and Inventory management
- Deliveries/Collections
- Liaising with members about pre booked wine orders
- Reserving and storing wine for events
- Helping the sommelier team during service
- Running wines to our restaurant to ensure a smooth service
- Stock enquiries
Our Ideal Candidate
- A pro‑active and attentive attitude
- Basic wine knowledge
- A good command of the English language
- Strong IT skills
- Good command of MS Excel
- Basic understanding of database systems – with previous experience of stock management software a bonus
