We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles and Trailers.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, 6 weekly inspections and MOT preparation to DVSA standard
- Be flexible and undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance, inspection, MOT preparation and repair of our growing HGV fleet
- 6 Weekly inspection
- MOT Preparation
- Minor Defect Repairs
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Class 1 HGV licence (preferred but not essential)
- IRTEC HGV Inspection Technician certificate (preferred but not essential)
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
