We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles and Trailers.

Duties:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, 6 weekly inspections and MOT preparation to DVSA standard
  • Be flexible and undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance, inspection, MOT preparation and repair of our growing HGV fleet
  • 6 Weekly inspection
  • MOT Preparation
  • Minor Defect Repairs
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Class 1 HGV licence (preferred but not essential)
  • IRTEC HGV Inspection Technician certificate (preferred but not essential)

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
